prayer request for the storms of life

Send us a prayer request at any time of day, by clicking on the pic to the left, or sending requests to our team at: prayer@sharethescoop.org. You can send prayer requests to our prayer warriors from work or home, or even from your smartphone! You can also leave them as posts on our Facebook page (using the social media link at the bottom of this page) or going directly to Facebook, for all of your local sisters in Christ!

Our team of prayer warriors will lift you up throughout their day, and at their monthly meetings. They are also at the event planning meetings, reminding us that they're praying for the event, as well as the volunteers and event planning committees. So rest assured, your requests will be made known to the Lord in abundance! Many hands will be praying over your every need!

Scriptures about prayer

Have you ever thought about prayer and how it works? It's as simple as a direct connection to God's ear. Jesus taught us how to pray, and hears every prayer. You can stop at any time and pray, or just say it aloud in the car, as you're driving, but here are several scriptures that help us to know about the power of prayer:

1 Chronicles 16:11 Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.

Psalms 4:1 Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: you have enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy on me, and hear my prayer.

Psalms 145:18 The LORD is near to all them that call on him, to all that call on him in truth.

Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helps our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.

James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
